Every book you order is in-stock and personally hand-picked with care by our team from our library of curated titles.

  • Order Processing Time (2-4 Business Days): As a dedicated independent bookstore, our team needs 2-4 business days (Monday – Friday) to carefully process, inspect, and package your order. Our operating hours are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Pacific Time, PT).

  • Daily Order Cut-Off Time: Our order cut-off time is 6:00 PM (PT). Orders placed after this time will begin processing on the next business day.

Section 2: Shipping Timeline & Costs

  • Shipping Time (5-7 Business Days): Once your order is ready, it is shipped via USPS. The estimated transit time for delivery within the US is 5-7 business days.

  • Total Estimated Delivery: You can typically expect your new reads to arrive within 7 to 11 business days.

  • Shipping Rates:

    • Orders of $199.00 or more enjoy FREE Standard Shipping.

    • A flat-rate shipping fee of $7.99 applies to all orders under $199.00.

  • Taxes: Applicable sales tax is required by law and will be calculated at checkout based on your specific shipping address. The final tax will be clearly displayed before you pay.

Section 3: Shipment & Tracking Information

  • Our Shipping Partner: We ship all orders via the United States Postal Service (USPS).

  • Shipping Area: We currently ship to all states within the United States.

  • Shipping Restrictions: We are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes or military APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

  • Tracking Your Order: You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number as soon as your order is on its way.

  • Damaged or Lost Items: If your package takes a wrong turn or arrives a bit weathered from its travels, please contact us immediately. We will personally handle the issue with USPS to ensure you receive your books in perfect condition.

  • Address Accuracy: Please ensure your shipping address is correct. We Mako Books LLC is not responsible for orders lost due to an incorrect address provided by the customer.

  • Issue Resolution: We are committed to resolving any shipping inquiries within 5-7 business days.
